What people are saying about Riverside Reserve

Long before the renovations even began, so many people questioned why Nicholas and I would hold out hope for a venue that wasn’t yet granted permission to begin the historic restoration. Even in its earliest stages, we were allll in, trusting in God and your staff that if we could pull this off, how incredibly exceptional our wedding night could be. There was never a plan B or C. It was Riverside Reserve or nothing.

We envisioned the riverboat docking at a beautiful, upscale venue that overflowed with elegance. The history, exposed bricks, moody lighting, speakeasy vibe, the cigars- we wouldn’t settle for anything less.

Defying all of the odds (and proving the naysayers wrong), you hit the ground running, restoring the building so beautifully while still honoring the Johnson family’s legacy. And the riverboat? After 5 MONTHS of the river being closed, 1 week before the wedding, we got 3-4 feet of heavy rain, so we were able to live out our “La Vie En Rose” moment after all. Moral of the story? Nothing can stop God’s Divine plan!

Ms. Lynn, even when there was no a/c and an inch of dirt on the floor, I could see your vision perfectly clear, and I never once doubted that you were going to see it through! We will never be able to thank you enough for your professionalism, hospitality, elegance, and attention to detail that allowed us to be fully immersed in the magic that was our wedding day. Our guests are still raving about our unforgettable night at Riverside Reserve!
